Brand Spotlight: Hairdreams, Hollywood’s Choice for Hair Extensions

HairdreamsOpen up any popular fashion magazine and you’re going to see a few things: skinny models, expensive clothes, and thick, gorgeous looking hair. While we may not be able to help you with the first two items, we CAN have your hair looking like the models featured on those glossy pages.

If you look at the variety of women that are hired for any given fashion show or photo shoot, you’ll notice that their ethnicities and quirks cover a broad spectrum. Just as makeup is used to create a distinct feel for each season’s clothing collection, hair stylists backstage are regularly employing hair extensions to not only compliment a designer’s creations, but to give the models uniformity. Those looks are then transitioned into Hollywood starlet’s lives, published on the pages of Vogue and InStyle magazines, and then become a reality in your city. Fortunately for you, many in Hollywood turn to Hairdreams brand hair extensions, and you can too!

There are several reasons why those who want the best turn to Hairdreams and why we at Wig Works and Extensions for Hair Salon choose this brand to get the best results. Hairdreams uses only top quality human hair which goes through an extensive process to create pristine results. When the hair is harvested, it is carefully arranged so that the strands are all pointing in the same direction (root to end), and then it undergoes a time-consuming osmosis process to lighten the black hair which will then be colored to match the different shades in the natural hair spectrum.

311576-HairdreamsHairExtensionsSalonHairdreams extensions attach to your hair through a process called “bonding.” The  bonding tips are warmed up to soften them and then they are closed around your own hair with the Hairdreams hair. This process is repeated strand by strand until you have achieved the style that you want. Furthermore, Hairdreams extensions are amazingly comfortable because of this special bonding system. They come in small, medium, and large sizes to accommodate each individual.

Since Hairdreams uses real human hair, you can color and style your hair as you normally would. However, chemical treatments may change the hair structure (as is true with any human hair), so only enlist the services of a Hairdreams specialist to protect your investment. Also, avoid using a hairdryer that is too hot close to your bondings or they may loosen. Finally, when you sleep braid your hair to prevent tangles.

At Wig Works and Extensions for Hair Salon, we provide only the best products that we can truly stand behind. We are proud to be Hairdreams Specialists and to be able bring a little bit of that Hollywood glamour into your everyday life.

About Janelle P.

I am proud to be one of the foremost hair loss specialists in the Bay Area with over thirty years experience in the field. At age 12 I began styling wigs for fashion and fun and assisted my mother after she established Wig Works in the early 1970’s. My passion for hair led me to Honolulu where I worked closely with legendary stylist Paul Mitchell. I had the honor to perform onstage platform hair styling with Mr. Mitchell, as well as legendaries Jean Braa, Zenon, and Alan Bush. I was also highly involved with the development and distribution of the Paul Mitchell line and later worked as a color representative for L’Oreal and stylist instructor for Matrix. I returned to the Bay Area and expanded Wig Works, with the establishment of Extensions for Hair. The revolutionary new hair extension method offered my clients with thin hair the opportunity to augment their style rather than relying on a wig or hair clip for length or fullness. These hair extensions are popular with women of all ages. Furthermore, I survived breast cancer twice and once lost all my hair from chemotherapy, so I have a unique perspective on special hair needs.
